Summary of The second stage of self-awareness
00:00:00In our early childhoods, around 18 months to three years old, we gain self-awareness, as proven by a psychological test using mirrors. However, there is a second stage of self-awareness that occurs in our 20s, 40s, or 60s and 70s. This stage involves becoming aware of the passage of time and how it relates to our lives. As we grow older and experience aging and loss, we develop a deeper understanding of the impact of time on our lives.
00:02:46The second stage of self-awareness is marked by the realization that time is constantly advancing and shaping our lives. This awareness brings clarity and focus as we understand the importance of utilizing every moment wisely. We appreciate the fun and enjoyment in life, but also recognize that time is precious and cannot be regained.
